What are the advantages and rewards of Replenish 360’s IV Hydration Therapy focused on Wellness and Preventative intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) services with Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid?
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is a major water-soluble antioxidant that is present in fruit and vegetables in the diet and offers many functions in maintaining optimum health and fitness. It is an essential micronutrient for humans due to its pleiotropic functions or ability to donate electrons that create a very potent antioxidant and a cofactor for a family of biosynthetic and gene regulatory enzymes.
Recent scientific evidence indicates that an increased intake of Vitamin C is associated with a reduced risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cataract, probably through antioxidant mechanisms.
Recently, the Dietary Reference Intake Panel of the Institute of Medicine recommended a Vitamin C dietary allowance of 90 mg/d for men and 75 mg/d for women.
High Benefits of Vitamin C:
- Vitamin C Deficiency (Scurvy) Treatment
- From the Vitamin C Deficiency (Scurvy) editorial by Luke Maxfield and Jonathan S. Crane, Scurvy is a medical syndrome that results from Vitamin C Deficiency. Accounts from pirates and British sailors made the disease infamous and ill famed. This disease was first reported in 1550 BC when people accurately labeled the diagnosis and treatment using onions and vegetables. Hippocrates formally coined the disease “ileos ematitis” with the description, “the mouth feels bad; the gums are detached from the teeth; blood runs from the nostrils… ulcerations on the legs; some of these heal… skin is thin.” In the 1700s, James Lind of the British Royal Navy determined the ingesting of lemons and oranges led to remission of the disease, and in 1927, the structure of ascorbic factor was published, with the synthesis of ascorbic acid named Vitamin C not long after.
- Vitamin C Deficiency results in fatigue and lethargy, early symptoms of Scurvy.
- Taking supplemental Vitamin C prevents, treats and reverses Vitamin C Deficiency, including Scurvy.
- Support Immune Cell Functioning
- Enhanced immune defense is one of the most popular benefits of Vitamin C as it supports various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system.
- It combats a multitude of infections that supports epithelial barrier function against pathogens and promotes the oxidant scavenging activity of the skin, which feasibly protect against environmental oxidative stress.
- Bacterial, viral, and other pathogenic infections may be less likely to occur and/or may decrease the duration of the illness because Vitamin C accumulates in phagocytic cells, such as neutrophils, and can heighten chemotaxis, phagocytosis, generation of reactive oxygen species, and eventually microbial killing; it is required for apoptosis and clearance of the spent neutrophils from the infection sites by macrophages that decreases potential tissue damage; and it enhances differentiation and proliferation of B- and T-cells in lymphocytes.
- Supplementation with Vitamin C seems to prevent respiratory and systemic infections in a wide range of studies by helping combat increased inflammatory response and metabolic demands.
- Reduction in Inflammation
- Having healthy effects, Vitamin C could work as an anti-inflammatory agent through its antioxidant capacity.
- The authors showed that plasma Vitamin C correlates inversely with biomarkers of inflammation such as CRP more than does dietary Vitamin C.
- Vitamin C (600 mg twice daily) has potential effects in alleviating inflammatory status by reducing hs-CRP, IL-6 and FBG in hypertensive and/or diabetic obese patients.
- Collagen Production and Wound Healing through Antioxidant Effects
- Vitamin C is well known for its protein and collagen synthesis benefits for increased wound healing, such as those with decubitus ulcers, burn patients, and other ailments requiring a boost in soft tissue restorative treatments.
- Preclinical studies demonstrated that Vitamin C has the potential to accelerate bone healing after a fracture, increase type I collagen synthesis, and reduce oxidative stress parameters.
- Since normal skin contains high concentrations of Vitamin C, the supplementation of Vitamin C may support important and well-known functions, stimulating collagen synthesis and assisting in antioxidant protection against UV-induced photodamage.
- Increases Blood Flow by Augmenting Nitric Oxide (NO) Production
- Ascorbic acid has been shown to stimulate endothelial nitric oxide (NO) synthesis in a time and concentration dependent fashion.
- Vitamin C is an effective scavenger of nitrite, reducing it to nitric oxide.
- Restoration of endothelial function in Heart Disease patients may possibly be another value of Vitamin C, which may improve overall vascular blood flow in atherosclerosis.
- By this same token, Vitamin C supplementation may also improve erectile dysfunction and essential hypertension by increasing vasodilation and perfusion, thereby, improving male sexual dysfunction and lowering blood pressure for better hypertension control.
Other Likely Benefits of Vitamin C:
- Neurology:
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Prevention
- Pain Relief After Surgery
- Ophthalmology:
- Slow Progression of Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
- Taking Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene, and Zinc helps prevent AMD from becoming worse in people at high risk for developing advanced AMD. It’s too soon to know if the combination helps people at lower risk for developing advanced AMD. Also, it’s too soon to known if Vitamin C helps prevents AMD.
- However, there have been studies that show that supplementation with Vitamin C can slow the progression of cataract and macular degeneration, an age-related eye disorder characterized by vision loss, has been a studied benefit of the supplement.
- Slow Progression of Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
- Respiratory:
- Thwarting of Upper Airway Infections (URIs) Caused by Heavy and Intense Exercise
- Cardiovascular:
- Help Fight High Cholesterol (e.g., Hyperlipidemia)
- Based on the UpToDate®’s Patient Education: High Cholesterol and Lipids (Beyond the Basics): High levels of lipids (fats) in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides, is also called “hyperlipidemia.” Hyperlipidemia can significantly increase a person’s risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other serious problems. To lower these risks, doctors often recommend that people with hyperlipidemia try to lower their cholesterol levels through a combination of dietary changes, exercise, and medication. Most cholesterol-lowering therapies are aimed at reducing low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or “bad” cholesterol. High levels of LDL can cause atherosclerosis (buildup of fatty deposits in the blood vessels), which is the major cause of cardiovascular events (heart attacks, strokes, and lower extremity or peripheral artery disease).
- Improved cholesterol metabolism may aid in the fight against heart disease due to its antioxidant properties to reduce oxidative stress.
- Taking Vitamin C might reduce low-density lipoprotein (LDL or “bad”) cholesterol in people with high cholesterol.
- Help Fight High Blood Pressure (e.g., Hypertension)
- Its mild diuretic effect promotes a utility to high blood pressure.
- Taking Vitamin C along with medicine to lower blood pressure helps lower systolic blood pressure (the top number in a blood pressure reading) by a small amount. It does not seem to lower diastolic pressure (the bottom number). Taking vitamin C does not seem to lower blood pressure when taken without medicine to lower blood pressure.
- Counter Irregular Heartbeat (e.g., Atrial Fibrillation or AFib)
- Curtail Reduced Benefit of Nitrate Therapy (e.g., Nitrate Tolerance)
- An interesting phenomenon called Nitrate Tolerance happens when nitrates are used all day for long periods of time and ultimately results in reduced benefit of Nitrate Therapy. Basically, in some people who take medicines for chest pain, the body may develop tolerance in some patient population and these medicines have reduced benefit and may eventually stop working all together unfortunately.
- Taking Vitamin C seems to help these medicines, such as nitroglycerine, work for longer in duration and efficacy for anginal chest pain whether Stable Angina (Angina Pectoris), Variant (Prinzmetal) Angina, Microvascular Angina, or Unstable Angina.
- Help Fight High Cholesterol (e.g., Hyperlipidemia)
- Gastrointestinal (GI):
- Aids in Emptying the Colon Before a Colonoscopy
- Before a person undergoes a colonoscopy, the person must make sure that their colon is empty. This emptying is called bowel preparation. Some bowel preparation involves drinking 4 liters of medicated fluid.
- If Vitamin C is included in the medicated fluid, the person only needs to drink 2 liters. This makes people more likely to follow through with the emptying procedure. Also fewer side effects occur. A specific medicated fluid containing Vitamin C (MoviPrep, Salix Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for bowel preparation.
- Decrease Swelling (Inflammation) of the Stomach (e.g., Gastritis)
- From the ACG Clinical Guideline: Treatment of Helicobacter Pylori Infection in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Helicobacter Pylori (H. pylori) infection is a common worldwide infection that is an important cause of peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer. H. pylori may also have a role in uninvestigated and functional dyspepsia, ulcer risk in patients taking low-dose aspirin or starting therapy with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, unexplained iron deficiency anemia, and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura.
- While choosing a treatment regimen for H. pylori, patients should be asked about previous antibiotic exposure and this information should be incorporated into the decision-making process.
- For first-line treatment, clarithromycin triple therapy should be confined to patients with no previous history of macrolide exposure who reside in areas where clarithromycin resistance amongst H. pyloriisolates is known to be low. Most patients will be better served by first-line treatment with bismuth quadruple therapy or concomitant therapy consisting of a PPI, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and metronidazole.
- When first-line therapy fails, a salvage regimen should avoid antibiotics that were previously used. If a patient received a first-line treatment containing clarithromycin, bismuth quadruple therapy or levofloxacin salvage regimens are the preferred treatment options. If a patient received first-line bismuth quadruple therapy, clarithromycin or levofloxacin-containing salvage regimens are the preferred treatment options. Details regarding the drugs, doses and durations of the recommended and suggested first-line and salvage regimens can be found in the guideline.
- On occasion, medicines used to treat H. pylori infection can worsen stomach inflammation and taking Vitamin C along with one of these proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), such as omeprazole, might decrease this side effect.
- Aids in Emptying the Colon Before a Colonoscopy
- Renal:
- Reduce Protein in the Urine (e.g., Albuminuria)
- According to the study called the “Effects of Supplementation with Vitamin C or E on albuminuria, glomerular TGF-beta, and glomerular size in diabetes,” the following support the potential utility of antioxidant treatment for the prevention of renal injury in diabetes:
- Treatment with Vitamin C, but not Vitamin E, significantly reduced kidney weight compared with that in untreated diabetic rats. Immunohistochemical staining for TGF-beta was 2.5-fold higher in glomeruli of cortical sections from untreated diabetic rats versus control rats.
- Treatment with Vitamin C or E prevented the increase in glomerular TGF-beta immunoreactivity. Glomerular volume was also significantly increased (twofold) in kidneys of untreated diabetic rats compared with control rats, as assessed by light microscopy.
- Treatment with Vitamin C prevented and treatment with Vitamin E reduced the increase in glomerular volume.
- Treatment with Vitamin C also prevented the sevenfold increase in albumin clearance otherwise seen in untreated diabetic rats.
- Therefore, taking Vitamin C plus Vitamin E can or may reduce excessive protein loss (i.e., albumin) in the urine in people with diabetes who have acute or chronic renal disease in some studies.
- According to the study called the “Effects of Supplementation with Vitamin C or E on albuminuria, glomerular TGF-beta, and glomerular size in diabetes,” the following support the potential utility of antioxidant treatment for the prevention of renal injury in diabetes:
- Reduce Protein in the Urine (e.g., Albuminuria)
- Rheumatology:
- Lower Risk or Prevention of Gout in Men
- Several metabolic studies and a recent double-blinded placebo-controlled randomized trial have shown that higher Vitamin C intake significantly reduces serum uric acid levels.
- However, the relation with the risk of Gout is unknown.
- It should also be noted that Vitamin C alone does not treat Gout, in general.
- However, higher Vitamin C intake from the diet seems to be independently associated and linked to a lower risk of Gout in men, specifically. It is also intriguing that supplemental Vitamin C intake may be beneficial in the prevention of Gout.
- Several metabolic studies and a recent double-blinded placebo-controlled randomized trial have shown that higher Vitamin C intake significantly reduces serum uric acid levels.
- Lower Risk or Prevention of Gout in Men
- Hematology:
- Mitigate Iron Deficiency Anemia and Hemolytic Anemia
- Vitamin C plays an important role in iron metabolism and application for red blood cell (RBC) formation.
- Among patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), there is association between anemia and increased chance of mortality mainly because of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, risk of hospitalization, and death prevalence in predialysis patients.
- Infusion of ascorbate supplementation can reduce oxidative stress among hemodialysis patients, which particular studies are aimed to assess the effect of Vitamin C on patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).
- Taking Vitamin C supplements might help manage hemolytic anemia in people undergoing dialysis, where the red blood cells (RBCs) are destroyed or metabolized faster than they are made (i.e., hemolysis).
- Thus, Iron Deficiency Anemia may be lessened by Vitamin C supplementation as the infusion of ascorbate supplementation aid in reducing oxidative stress among hemodialysis patients.
- Vitamin C plays an important role in iron metabolism and application for red blood cell (RBC) formation.
- Antioxidant Status in Lead Poisoning
- Although several animal studies suggest a protective relationship between blood lead concentrations and ascorbic acid, there are inconclusive results regarding the beneficial effect of ascorbic acid on lead concentrations in human studies.
- Serum ascorbic acid concentrations were inversely associated with the prevalence of elevated blood lead concentrations.
- However, there was no significant relationship between dietary ascorbic acid intake and blood lead concentrations.
- This suggests that there may be a protective relationship between ascorbic acid and lead.
- Supplementation of Vitamin C is beneficial to reduce the oxidative stress and to improve the antioxidant status.
- The high blood lead level induces oxidative stress and alters the antioxidant status.
- However, Vitamin C is helpful to reduce the lipid peroxidation and nitrite formation and enhances the erythrocytes superoxide dismutase and catalase activity.
- Consuming Vitamin C in the diet does not seem to lower blood levels of lead but it does improve overall antioxidant status through the reduction of oxidative stress in those with suspected or diagnosed Lead Poisoning.
- Although several animal studies suggest a protective relationship between blood lead concentrations and ascorbic acid, there are inconclusive results regarding the beneficial effect of ascorbic acid on lead concentrations in human studies.
- Mitigate Iron Deficiency Anemia and Hemolytic Anemia
- Oncology:
- Cancer Care and Vitamin C
- There’s still no evidence that Vitamin C alone can cure cancer, but researchers are studying whether it might boost the effectiveness of other cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
- There are still no well-done, controlled clinical trials that have shown a substantial effect of vitamin C on cancer, but some studies do suggest a mild decrease in side effects of certain cancer treatments when standard therapy is combined with high-dose IV Vitamin C.
- The anti-cancer effect of high doses of intravenous Vitamin C (high-dose vitamin C) remains controversial despite growing evidence that high-dose Vitamin C exerts anti-tumorigenic activity by increasing the amount of reactive oxygen species in cancer cells without meaningful toxicities.
- Combining high-dose Vitamin C with conventional anti-cancer drugs can have therapeutic advantages against breast cancer cells.
- Potential use in in adjunctive cancer care in doses up to 25 grams intravenously can be safely used to treat presumptive ascorbate deficiency based on symptoms and could favorably affect clinical parameters such as inflammation, fatigue, and quality of life.
- Cancer Care and Vitamin C
- Musculoskeletal:
- Cartilage Loss and Osteoarthritis (OA)
- Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent joint disease. Dietary intake of vitamin C relates to a reduction in cartilage loss and OA.
- This study examined the efficacy of vitamin C to prevent OA with the in vitro chondrosarcoma cell line (SW1353) and the in vivo monosodium iodoacetate (MIA)-induced OA rat.
- Results demonstrated that, in SW1353 cells, treatment with 5 μM MIA inhibited cell growth and increased oxidative stress, apoptosis, and proteoglycan loss. In addition, the expression levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-17A, and TNF-α and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) MMP-1, MMP-3, and MMP-13 were increased. All of these MIA-induced changes could be prevented with treatment of 100 μM vitamin C. In an animal model, intra-articular injection of MIA-induced cartilage degradation resembled the pathological changes of OA, and treatment of vitamin C could lessen these changes.
- Unexpectedly, vitamin C’s effects did not strengthen with the increasing dosage, while the 100 mg/kg dosage was more efficient than the 200 or 300 mg/kg dosages.
- Vitamin C possessed multiple capacities for prevention of OA progress, including a decrease in apoptosis and in the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and MMPs in addition to the well-known antioxidation.
- Taking Vitamin C from dietary sources or from calcium ascorbate supplements seems to prevent cartilage loss and worsening of symptoms in people with osteoarthritis.
- Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent joint disease. Dietary intake of vitamin C relates to a reduction in cartilage loss and OA.
- Cartilage Loss and Osteoarthritis (OA)
- Skin:
- Decrease skin redness caused by injury or irritation (erythema) and wrinkled skin.
- Using a skin cream containing Vitamin C might decrease skin redness following laser resurfacing for scar and wrinkle removal.
- Postoperative erythema of several months duration is a universal and problematic side effect of cutaneous carbon dioxide (CO2) laser resurfacing.
- The application of topical L-ascorbic acid in an aqueous formulation resulted in a significant decrease in post-CO2 laser resurfacing erythema by the eighth postoperative week when compared with laser-irradiated skin that had not received topical Vitamin C.
- Taking Vitamin C seems to improve and help reduce erythema and the appearance of wrinkled skin.
- Using a skin cream containing Vitamin C might decrease skin redness following laser resurfacing for scar and wrinkle removal.
- Improve Second Degree Burn
- Taking Vitamin C alone does not prevent first, second, and third burns but may improve the sunburn.
- In this study, participants have got an age average of 43.03 ± 11.90, 60% of participants were composed of men, and the other 40% were women.
- The results of ANOVA Test showed repetitive measurements.
- The average of final score of burn between two types of cures was statistically significant (P=0.047).
- In other words, there was a significant difference on improving the burn between two groups, and Vitamin C takes a significant effect on improving the burn.
- Taking Vitamin C alone does not prevent first, second, and third burns but may improve the sunburn.
- Decrease skin redness caused by injury or irritation (erythema) and wrinkled skin.
- Psychiatric:
- Anxiety, Depression and Psychological Stress
Dietary Intake and Dosage:
When taken for the Daily Requirements of of Vitamin C in the absence of deficiency or disease, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- Recently, the Dietary Reference Intake Panel of the Institute of Medicine recommended a Vitamin C dietary allowance of 90 mg/d for men and 75 mg/d for women.
- In the absence of deficiency, daily requirements are up to 45 mg per day in children, 90 mg per day for men, 75 mg per day for women, and up to 120 mg per day for women who are lactating.
When taken for the treatment and management of Vitamin C Deficiency (Scurvy), the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- Direct replacement of Vitamin C is standard, with up to 300 mg daily for children and 500 mg to 1000 mg daily for adults.
- The endpoint of replacement is one month or upon resolution of clinical sequelae.
- Alternative treatment regimens for adults include one to 2 g for up to 3 days followed by 500 mg daily for a week followed by 100 mg daily for up to 3 months.
- In addition to immediate supplementation, educate the patient on lifestyle modifications to ensure adequate intake, and recommend cessation of alcohol, and tobacco use.
When taken for the management of the Common Cold, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- Most research shows that taking 1-3 grams of Vitamin C might shorten the course of the cold by 1 to 1.5 days.
- Taking vitamin C does not appear to prevent colds.
When taken for the reduction of Chronic Diseases, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- The totality of the reviewed data on some clinical studies suggests that an intake of 90–100 mg Vitamin C per day is required for optimum reduction of chronic disease risk in nonsmoking men and women.
When taken for the alleviation of General Inflammation, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- Vitamin C (600 mg twice daily) has potential effects in alleviating inflammatory status by reducing hs-CRP, IL-6 and FBG in hypertensive and/or diabetic obese patients.
When taken for its potential use in Adjunctive Cancer Care, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- While IVC may have a variety of possible applications, such as combating infection, treating rheumatoid arthritis, it has generated the most interest for its potential use in adjunctive cancer care.
- The Riordan intravenous Vitamin C (IVC) protocol involves the slow infusion of vitamin C at doses on the order of 0.1 to 1.0 grams ascorbate per kilogram body mass (Riordan, et al., 2003).
- Potential use in in adjunctive cancer care in doses up to 25 grams intravenously can be safely used to treat presumptive ascorbate deficiency based on symptoms and could favorably affect clinical parameters such as inflammation, fatigue, and quality of life.
- Only after a thorough medical and clinical history in addition to a collaborative approach in medical care, please note the use and supplement of high doses of Vitamin C under the direction of your oncologist and other competent health care providers for its potential use in adjunctive cancer care.
When taken for prevention, wellness, and general health, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of Vitamin C is as follows:
- Children 0 to 6 months: 40 milligrams per day
- Children 7 to 12 months: 50 milligrams per day
- Children 1 to 3 years: 15 milligrams per day
- Children 4 and 8 years: 25 milligrams per day
- Children 9 to 13 years: 45 milligrams per day
- Females 14 to 18 years: 65 milligrams per day
- Males 14 to 18 years: 75 milligrams per day
- Females 19 and over: 75 milligrams per day
- Males 19 and over: 90 milligrams per day
- Pregnant females 14 to 18: 80 milligrams per day
- Pregnant females 19 and over: 85 milligrams per day
- Breastfeeding females 14 to 18: 115 milligrams per day
- Breastfeeding females 19 and over: 120 milligrams per day
Notable Toxicities of Vitamin C:
-
Vitamin C has low toxicity and is not believed to cause serious adverse effects at moderate intakes.
-
However, high doses may have potential adverse effects even though it is a water-soluble vitamin that usually cannot be stored in the body.
- Gastrointestinal Symptoms:
- Gastrointestinal Disturbances
- The most common complaints are mild to moderate to severe diarrhea, nausea, mild abdominal cramps, and other gastrointestinal disturbances due to the osmotic effect of unabsorbed Vitamin C in the gastrointestinal tract.
- Gastrointestinal Disturbances
- Renal:
- Kidney Stones
- More than 2,000 mg or 2G per day may increase risk of kidney stones.
- High doses of Vitamin C can increase the risk of a rare condition called hyperoxaluria which promotes excretion of oxalic acid in the kidney tubules that may eventually lead to kidney stones.
- In people who have had a kidney stone, amounts greater than 1000 mg daily greatly increase the risk of kidney stone recurrence.
- More than 2,000 mg or 2G per day may increase risk of kidney stones.
- Weight Loss Surgery
- Too much oxalate in the urine can cause problems such as kidney stones and can increase the risk of kidney failure in people with kidney disease.
- Weight loss surgery can cause the body to absorb more oxalate from food. This can increase the amount of oxalate in the urine.
- Vitamin C can also increase the amount of oxalate in the urine.
- Taking large amounts vitamin C after weight loss surgery might increase the risk of having too much oxalate in the urine.
- Too much oxalate in the urine can cause problems such as kidney stones and can increase the risk of kidney failure in people with kidney disease.
- Kidney Transplant Rejection
- Long-term use of Vitamin C in high doses before a kidney transplant may increase the risk of transplant rejection or delay how long it takes until the transplanted kidney works.
- Kidney Stones
- Endocrine:
- Diabetes and Hyperglycemia
- Vitamin C should be used with caution for any diabetic since it may raise the glucose levels in the body.
- Diabetes and Hyperglycemia
- Cardiac:
- Heart Attack (Acute Coronary Syndrome, ACS)
- Vitamin C levels are reduced during a heart attack.
- However, low vitamin C has not been linked to an increased risk for heart attack.
- In some studies of older women with diabetes, Vitamin C in high dosages more than 300 mg per day may increase the risk of death from heart disease.
- Vitamin C levels are reduced during a heart attack.
- Angioplasty and Wound Healing
- Avoid taking supplements containing Vitamin C or other antioxidant vitamins (beta-carotene, vitamin E) immediately before and following angioplasty without the supervision of a health care professional.

About IV Therapy
“Replenishing your mind and body, restoring you to your best self, and improving your health and everyday performance.”
Our R360 motto above is what we always strive for whenever you come into our one-of-kind and relaxing IV Hydration Therapy and Wellness Clinic. We will always welcome you with open arms in certain cases when you may be sniffling and whimpering through a mild cold, the “achy-breaky” flu, and/or other upper respiratory infection (URI) with or without nausea and vomiting; the “runs” from a bug that you unfortunately caught after consumption of contaminated food; had a bit of a discomforting and nagging hangover from the once-in-a-lifetime party or special occasion you gladly experienced the night before; are a very competitive athlete who may need to boost their physical performance and recovery with IV hydration post-intense workout; or you are just very worn out because of the jet-lag feeling from a red-eye flight and you may have not had the chance to drink enough water and ingest enough nutrients throughout your traveling on top of your busy schedule and the hard days work. These are small and minute but prime examples of different types of sometimes unavoidable life occurrences which may not be at all averted entirely, which may probably lead to your mild to moderate dehydration and the sequelae of uncomfortable signs and symptoms stemming from the lack of daily oral water, nutrients, and vitamin intake.
It is, therefore, only merited that our sole mission is to commit ourselves to reviving and helping healthy people recover from these unforeseen instances of mild to moderate dehydration by administering IV hydration fluids, nutrients, vitamins, and amino acids in addition to other stabilizing and wellness services via our professional mobile and brick/mortar IV Hydration Therapy Clinic and Wellness Clinic to replenish your mind and body, restore you to your best self, and improve your health and everyday performance.
We want to be your favorite and most reliable service and facility of choice for your hydration and adjunct supplementary wellness service needs, not only in our state-of-the-art and tranquil IV Hydration Therapy and Wellness Clinic, but also at the comfort of your own home or hotel room when you are sick with a mild infection affecting your daily physical and mental performance; your special occasions and personal life events such as birthdays, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, and other extraordinary life celebrations; community events and astounding music festivals like the infamous Coachella Festival, Stagecoach Festival, Desert Trip Shows, and other hot entertaining concerts and exceptional celebrations; your local bars, pubs, taverns, night clubs, dance clubs, and other fun venues to prevent the aggravating signs and symptoms of dehydration; and, lastly, immersed in your sporting events at your native gym and maybe even in within an arm’s reach of your practices, tournaments, and competitive sports when you need a little lift with hydration, vitamins, and other nutrients to help you achieve your peak physical and mental performance and recover faster than you could ever have.
